After growing up the son of a CIA agent, Scott Johnson fell into a parallel career path as a foreign correspondent, channeling his own transient childhood by working overseas as a reporter and bureau chief for Newsweek for more than a decade. Johnson, who was headquartered in Iraq and Afghanistan among other war-torn nations, shares how the news-gathering process has evolved alongside the Internet.
