KEEN—for Keeping Entrepreneurs Engaged and Networking—is convening an eclectic and exciting group of top digital tastemakers, leaders, founders and innovators all under one roof from October 24 to 27, 2013 in a three-day B2B and B2C event and expo. This inaugural conference in Nashville welcomes social influencers, journalists, editors, developers, start-ups, small businesses and Fortune 500 brands to come meet, collaborate, and learn about innovative technologies and new platforms in the areas of travel, technology, food and spirits, family and entertainment.

Lisa Chader is Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications for CMT, a unit of Viacom Media Networks, based in Nashville. She is responsible for creating and executing network and program publicity strategies for original series, special events and corporate strategy across all CMT brands.

Under her direction, Chader’s team works to elevate CMT’s brand-awareness with high-profile media coverage of shows and events.  She oversaw the launch of CMT’s two highest-rated series in network history, BAYOU BILLIONAIRES and MY BIG REDNECK WEDDING, which garnered national media attention including coverage from the NY Times and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” among others.  Chader has spearheaded successful media partnerships with respected brands including Southern Living, Ladies Home Journal and PEOPLE, and leveraged the network’s position to secure the first ever sponsor for the backstage media room at the CMT MUSIC AWARDS.  In addition, she oversees the development, production and implementation of the network’s annual CMT MUSIC AWARDS Red Carpet.

Previously, Chader was director of corporate communications for MTV Networks in Los Angeles, where she served as publicist on such shows as Comedy Central’s “South Park” and “Chappelle's Show,” and VH1’s “Surreal Life”.  She began her public relations career at TBS Superstation, working both in LA and Atlanta where she publicized documentaries, original movies and events.

Chader is a native of Atlanta and is a graduate of Florida State University.  With 20 years of experience in television publicity, she is an alumna of WICT’s prestigious Betsy Magness Leadership Institute and Leadership Music.  She sits on the board of the T.J. Martell Foundation and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Television Publicity Executives Committee, and Women in Cable and Telecommunications.  Chader lives in Nashville with her husband and 8-year-old-son.
