Mara Gorman is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in a variety of USA Today special publications and on AOL Travel. Her award–winning blog The Mother of all Trips has inspired families to travel for the past five years and she founded the crowd-sourced Back to Ski campaign, which focuses on using social media and the web to get families excited about downhill skiing.

She has been on the board of the travel blogging fundraiser Passports With Purpose since the winter of 2013 and is an advocate of using social media platforms to improve the lives of women and girls around the globe. Mara lives with her husband and two sons in Delaware.
