Beth Rucker joined Scripps Networks Interactive in 2012 as the Mobile Content Manager for the company’s home division. She is responsible for producing content for HGTV and DIY Network’s growing suite of mobile applications. Prior to joining Scripps, Beth spent seven years as a newswoman and editor at The Associated Press, where she covered everything from national politics to college athletics. She’s a huge blog and social media junky, and you’ll find her somewhat irreverent writing at themoderngal.com. After living all over Tennessee, she’s made her home in Knoxville, but tries to get away as much as possible to indulge her love of travel.
