Seattle native Turner Barr graduated from UC Berkeley and holds a Masters in Business Entrepreneurship from the University of Luxembourg. Turner set out 7 years ago exploring the world. 90 countries and six continents later, he founded AroundtheWorldin80Jobs.com, a portal and web video series designed to inspire people to have more meaningful work/life experiences overseas. In 2013, Turner led the #makeitright campaign against the multi-billion dollar international job recruitment corporation Adecco for intellectual copyright infringement for using his brand and personal likeness in their global marketing initiative. The result was the largest settlement from a multi-national corporation to a blogger due solely to social media pressure without legal intervention. He is an advocate of small business, social entrepreneurship and animal rights. His current project, AroundtheWorldin80Causes.org, is an organization aimed to bring awareness to smaller organizations and philanthropies around the world in need of support and funding.
